The 1st International Conference on Health Information Science 8th-9th, April, 2012, Beijing, China, Pangu Seven Star Hotel 2012 International Conference on Health Information Science (HIS 2012) provides a forum for disseminating and exchanging multidisciplinary research results in computer science/information technology and health science & services. It aims to integrate computer science with health science & services, coupling information science research with topics related to the modeling, design, development, integration, and management of health information systems and health services. All submissions should be in English. Submission of a paper should be regarded as an undertaking that, should the paper be accepted, at least one author will attend the conference to present the work. Paper submission will be electronic through the HIS12 Web site. Papers should be submitted in LNCS (Lecture Notes in Computer Science) format (style files are available at LNCS Authors Instructions) as PostScript or PDF files and may not exceed 12 pages. PUBLICATION The proceedings will be published by Springer-Verlag in the LNCS series, one volume for main conference and one volume for workshops (pending for approval).One special issue on journal: Health Information Science and System (Springer and BMC publisher) will be organized based on the accepted paper of HIS2012.
